Iron Infusions in St. Albert & Edmonton Area
Professional, evidence-based care by Registered Nurses

Iron infusions are provided at Nectar IV Hydration & Wellness with a valid prescription from your healthcare provider for
Monoferric® (DIN 02497281) or Venofer® (DIN 02243797).

We provide self-referral iron infusion services in a calm, relaxing, professional environment.
If you’ve already seen your healthcare provider and have a prescription along with recent bloodwork (within 6 weeks), our team will take care of the rest.

What to Expect

  • A thorough review of your prescription and recent blood work before your appointment

  • A private, relaxing environment for your infusion

  • Direct monitoring by a registered nurse throughout the treatment

  • Aftercare instructions to support your recovery

You may be eligible for an iron infusion at Nectar IV Hydration & Wellness if you meet the following criteria:

  • You have a valid prescription for Monoferric® (DIN 02497281) or Venofer® (DIN 02243797) written by your healthcare provider.

  • You have recent bloodwork (within 6 weeks) confirming your provider’s recommendation for IV iron therapy.

  • You are 18 years or older and in stable health.

  • You are seeking a self-referral option for professional administration by a Registered Nurse in a supportive clinic setting.

Please note:
For safety reasons, you are not eligible if you are pregnant, have certain medical conditions, or have experienced an adverse reaction to IV medications in the past.

Our team will review your intake form, bloodwork, and prescription during your complimentary phone appointment to ensure it’s safe to proceed before your infusion is booked.

Need support meeting these requirements?

If you do not currently have recent bloodwork or a prescription for IV iron, we recommend connecting with Stacey Dimock, the prescribing pharmacist and functional medicine practitioner who oversees our iron infusion program.

Through her private practice (Lotus Functional Medicine), Stacey offers virtual consultations for $50. She will review your health history and available bloodwork, can order additional labs when needed and may prescribe IV iron when it is safe and clinically appropriate.

Please note that a consultation does not guarantee a prescription or eligibility for an iron infusion.
