Iron Infusion Referrals
For Healthcare Providers
Partner with Nectar IV Hydration & Wellness for safe, professional iron infusion services in a calm, supportive setting.
Our team includes Registered Nurses with advanced IV skills, a prescribing pharmacist specializing in functional medicine, and a nurse practitioner. We streamline the referral process by verifying labs through Alberta Netcare, scheduling patients, and keeping your office informed — so you can focus on patient care.
This page is exclusively for healthcare providers to learn about our program and access our secure referral form.
How to Refer your Patient
Referring your patient to Nectar IV is simple, secure, and designed to provide a smooth experience for both providers and patients.
Step 1 — Write the Prescription
Please provide your patient with a prescription for the appropriate iron infusion product and dose. Nectar IV does not dispense medication on site, so patients will fill their prescription at their pharmacy and bring the iron with them to their infusion appointment.
Step 2 — Complete the Referral Form
Complete our referral form either electronically or by paper copy.
Referrals can be submitted by:
Email: hello@nectariv.ca
Fax: 780-800-0438
Step 3 — We Contact Your Patient
Once the referral is received, our team will contact your patient directly. We will send them our intake form and schedule a complimentary 15-minute iron intake phone consultation with one of our RNs.
Step 4 — RN Intake & Booking
During the phone consultation, our RN will review the patient’s intake form, review available bloodwork through Alberta Netcare, explain the infusion process, answer questions, and complete safety screening prior to booking.
When appropriate, we can typically book the patient’s iron infusion within 2 weeks. Our team will provide the patient with all appointment details, including what to bring and how to prepare.
Step 5 — Follow-Up to Your Clinic
After the infusion is complete, we will fax your clinic a follow-up summary confirming that the infusion has been administered, along with any relevant appointment notes to support continuity of care.
