Instead, every new client starts with a complimentary phone consultation with one of our Registered Nurses. Together, we’ll review your goals, discuss safe and personalized options, and design a treatment plan that fits you perfectly. -

Most clients visit monthly to maintain energy, recovery, and balance, while others come seasonally or as needed.How often can I come?

Congratulations! To keep you and your baby safe, we do not perform IV or injection treatments during pregnancy.
Our nursing team practices with an abundance of caution, and we’d love to support you postpartum once you’ve been cleared by your provider. -

Iron Infusions

To begin, you’ll need to book an appointment with your family doctor or healthcare provider and complete the necessary blood work.
If your provider determines that an iron infusion is appropriate, they will prescribe Venofer or Monoferric Once your prescription is written, please call or text 780-851-2886 or email hello@nectariv.ca to let our team know you’re ready to move forward.
We’ll then schedule a short virtual intake call with one of our Registered Nurses to begin the process. -
Before your consultation, you’ll receive a secure link to set up your profile and complete an intake form.
During your 15-minute virtual consultation, our Registered Nurse will:Review your intake form and recent blood work in Netcare
Explain what to expect during your infusion
Answer any questions you may have
If you meet the safety criteria to proceed, your nurse will help you book your infusion appointment, often within the same week.

You’ll pick up your prescribed iron vial from your pharmacy and bring it with you to your appointment.
Please also bring your government-issued ID and Alberta Health Card (if you have one).
Before you arrive, make sure you’re well-hydrated and have eaten a light meal or snack. -
Please plan to be at the clinic for about 90 minutes total.
This includes getting settled, your infusion time, and a brief observation period afterward to ensure you’re feeling well before you leave -
The infusion administration fee is $220.
Some health or flex spending accounts may cover this fee. We’ll provide a detailed receipt with your Registered Nurse’s license number for insurance submission. -
Yes. We send follow-up communication to the physician or provider who prescribed your iron to confirm your treatment details.
You’ll continue to follow up directly with your healthcare provider for future lab work and ongoing care. -
If you don’t currently have a family doctor or nurse practitioner, you can book a virtual consultation with Stacey Dimock, Prescribing Pharmacist and Functional Medicine Practitioner, through Lotus Functional Medicine.

Once your prescription and intake form are complete, we can usually schedule your infusion within one week.
